After What’s wrong with secretary Kim, Start-Up and Run on, it only made sense to watch Record of youth, another KDrama.
By now I know that KDramas don’t just start focusing on the main characters and the main storyline, there is a lot of groundwork and you need to watch a couple of episodes to get into it… to know ALL the important characters and to understand the base of the story.
Record of youth – As the name suggests, this story is record of lives of the characters in their 20s. A story so beautifully written that you might need to keep a box of tissues handy.

(And I wished it had a different ending… but well… it’s okay)
- Watch it for Park Bo-gum and Park So-dam. Their story is simple. It is not the usual exaggerated relationship troubles. Their story is hopeful, full of love, care and warmth. It will warm your heart and melt it a bit. It’ll touch you and you’ll feel it.
- Relatable. When you’re 20 something and want to make your mark in this world you do things differently… You still aren’t experienced enough and make mistakes. It is all part of the game. The record will show you this.
- It is not one-sided. All the three main stories are important and conclude satisfactorily.
- Style, glamour and beauty. Want to feel inspired, you gotta watch the wardrobe and the accessories and the makeup + skincare.
- Food. You will feel like eating all the time. All the good food will make sure your stomach is always full.
