Week 2 of 52 – Slice of my life

assorted color kites

This week started well and the first five days went like a breeze.

READING

I finished reading Strange Weather In Tokyo by Hiromi Kawakami.

There are books that are full of twists and turns and then there is beautiful slow, mundane, feel-good Japanese literature.

This book was about life of two common people in love. They went to the market for shopping, drank at a bar, watched seasons change, and deeply cared about each other in their own way.

When I read it for the first time I was expecting something crazy to happen but this time I knew that this book was balmy, calm and warm.

EATING

I tried Korean barbeque!

Would I go here again? Ummm not if it is just us. If some other friend wants to, we may.

Also, has makke ki roti and sarso ka saag <3

I even tried some Strawberry banana protein shake for lunch ✨

WATCHING

I am watching Let’s Eat on Netflix. It is a Thai drama. I started watching it to familiarise myself with thai food and for most of the parts it is a good drama but some scenes are just gross. It has kind of crude comedy that I am just ignoring.

I also watched Pretty Woman on Friday night. I was reminded how short and sweet this movie was with lots of glimmers and very little drama.

I watched the Studio Ghibli movie Ocean Waves, it was nice.

INTERESTING

Did a couple of dance workouts after a while and enjoyed them.
