Week 16 of 52 – A Slice Of My Life

Hello friends ✨

This week we said good bye to all our rented furlenco furniture and bought a couple of things. A GREEN SOFA! Yes, we did.

Anyway, here’s what I have been up to lately.

READING

I finished reading The Easy Life in Kamusari and started reading the Kamusari Tales Told at Night.

I think this pace is okay.

EATING

This week we went to Fatty bao and oh boy oh boy what a disappointment.

Here’s what we had and my thoughts about those dishes/drink:
Five spiced chicken bao: Tasty, the spices were 100% Indian.

Kimchi baby potatoes fried: these tasted good and would be satisfactory if they didn’t have kimchi in their title because there was NO kimchi there.

Pho: The pho would make Uncle Roger and his ancestors cry. With muddy broth, ramen noodles, charred chicken. It would pass as ramen but not pho.

Vietnamese iced coffee: first of all there was no ice in iced coffee 🤣 Secondly main ingredients of a Vietnamese iced coffee are condensed milk, strong coffee and ice and these were the only three things missing. But if it was called cold coffee, it did taste like a very good cold coffee.

And thought I wanted to have Japanese Cheesecake we decided to skip it and walk to Magnolia bakery to get Tres leches instead.

We have had jowar roti for 4 weeks straight now. Will we stick to it? Is it good. We are still undecided but we will go on for a little more time.

WATCHING

I am still watching Amidst a Snowstorm of Love and Queen of tears and also started Lovely Runner 😛

Finished watching Eye love you and it will get its own post but all I want to say is it could have better ending. It’s a happy ending but still.

Friday movie: 10 things I hate about you.

INTERESTING

Bought a green sofa and a bed and loads of protein 😛

CREATING

I created a reel that got more views than expected.

GENSHIN IMPACT

I am on stealth mode. Doing some hangouts and such. Didn’t have enough primos to draw anything this week.

That’s all from me, what was the highlight of your week?
