I watched the first episode of this drama without any expectations. I have been following Byeon Woo-seok on Instagram since the day I watched Record of Youth.
I also watched 20th century girl and sobbed like a baby.
I have seen him either not getting the girl or dying all the time. In this drama as well, he died multiple times and thankfully there is time travel factor so he did not die die.
Does the story have too many loopholes? Yes.
Is it still worth watching? Ummm yes. If you are looking for heart-fluttering romance with a good mix of comedy and friendship, this one is for you.
It will grab your interest from the very beginning and at no point did I feel like 1.5xing the video.
The OST is sooooooo good. No wonder it is trending on instagram.
There isn’t much you will take from the drama. The romance is normal. The dialogues aren’t very powerful. However, the acting is good and the overall feel is also great.
As a regular kdrama watcher I can tell you this is a good one. Not a legendary one but a good one.
Im Sol: When she travels back in time she realises that she has been focusing on all wrong things so far. Her personality flip makes the drama interesting. She thinks she is doing all the right things but sadly things don’t turn out the way she expects them to. That is sad. But but but the way she shows her love for Sun Jae and hence Sun Jae’s reactions make it worthwhile. Everytime she said Sun Jaeaaaaa my heart did a little flip.
Ryu Sun Jae: A lot of people have called the character a loser. Which he is not. He is goofy in the way you won’t expect him to be. I don’t want to spoil it if you haven’t watched it yet but some of his dialogues in first few episodes have all my heart.
Kim Tae Sung: As much as I did not like how things ended for him, I am happy that he didn’t have to go through any intense heartbreak. His visuals, his acting and his character growth are really good.
In Hyuk: He is fine. I think Lee Seung Hyub should do some dramas with deeper characters. He is good and we need to see it for ourselves.
Jung Mal Ja (Im Sol’s grandmother): Her character was a know-it-all but a little confusing. A little more clarity please!
Kim Young Soo: The dude had like one line and he was the main villain. What I do like about him is his Instagram. It is hilarious.
Okay, so that is all from me.
If you haven’t watched it yet, you can go ahead and watch it now.
