Watch it for amazing food shots, beautiful cinematography and cute smiles.
Though there is mystery and drama, the main element of this drama is fantasy link that exists between the leads. There is no clear answer to why does this link actually exist but well, it’s okay.
Honestly, I am not afraid of dropping dramas if I don’t enjoy them and since I did not drop this, I can say did enjoy it.
The sweet exchanges, the two other couples with great chemistry, a little bit of mystery and a lot of thrill made it worth the time.
What I also liked is how this drama shines light on domestic violence, bullying, abuse, PTSD and such mental health issues. The main leads and even the other characters go through a lot individually and collectively but in the end they all start healing. Things get better, not immediately but eventually. And that’s what matters.
You should watch this drama if:
You love food. You think food heals.
You are a Yeo Jin Goo or Moon Ga Young fan.
You like sepia scenes, beautiful cinematography.
You grew up in a neighbourhood knowing all the people who lived around you.
You want to watch something healing.
“It’s because we’ve lost someone. We’ve lost someone precious to us. That’s why we can’t hold on to someone. We’re afraid of losing them again.
– Eun Gye Hoon, chef
You want to listen to this because it is magical!
Want to watch more of fantasy genre? Here’s my list.
So what are you watching these days?
