glitter and sunshine
Hello hello 👋
Yet another week has passed without losing even an ounce of weight or an inch around my waist. So I am not a loser after all.
This week, however, I have been on edge. A little bit of anxiety, a little bit of irritation and a little bit of anger have followed me everywhere.
Earlier last week I started this quest for deep sleep because I thought that I was missing on some good quality sleep. But turns out my app was misbehaving and I am sleeping alright. I need only a little bit more of deep sleep.
I started taking warm showers at night and even tried some melatonin. I am not even sure if that is working.
Now, let’s talk about the specifics of last week:
I read In Praise of Shadows by Jun’ichirō Tanizaki. It is an essay and a short but thought-provoking read.


It was yet another week of having the same food. I am hoping that this will help me with my weight. However, they say that one must reduce calorie intake as they keep losing weight because because now their body needs less food than earlier. I don’t know if I want to go that way.
For our Sunday date we watched Furiosa and decided to have lunch at a close by place called Toscano.
We’ve been here thrice and every time I hope that this place disappoints me a little less but sadly that doesn’t happen. They serve mediocrity at best. My haircut from last to last week feels fresher than their bread.
Okay but seriously here’s what we ordered:
Classic sangria: well, it wasn’t really classic.
aglio olio: well this is one of those simple recipes that only requires garlic and oil but somehow it felt like the kitchen ran out of garlic but did have a really good supply of oil.
Veg bruschetta: ummm the tomato one was good, mushrooms okay and for the love of food I couldn’t even figure out what the third one was.
So, we skipped dessert.
Had ice cream at the food court and it was a little too sweet.
I wish I had just gotten some Subway or Sbarro instead 🤣





I finished watching The Atypical family and it did not disappoint.
I also started watching the perfect marriage revenge and am liking it so far.
We started watching Frankly speaking as our dinner-time show.
I tried improving my sleep but turns out my sleep score is already 90+.
Last week I said my goal is to lose minimum 1kg and max 4kg but we are nowhere close to it.
I created a couple of reels.
I managed to pull Clorinde and Sethos 💃🏽
