Week 21 of 52 – A Slice Of My Life

Hello friends ✨

Time keeps flying and sometimes you are just sitting there doing nothing and you have clarity on something you were confused about for a while. It just happens. And that is life.

Week 21 was about one of those clarities and a lot of self-reflection.

As the time passes, I am spending my days working more, working out more and playing less.

Here’s what I have been up to lately.

READING

I read this book called She and Her Cat written by Makoto Shinkai and Naruki Nagakawa. It is a bunch of stories that are interconnected in a way told from the perspective of the owner of the cat and the cats.

I found the stories cute and heartwarming. It is a breezy read.

The right word to describe this book would be WHOLESOME ᓚᘏᗢ

Society is mostly made up words.

How true!

EATING

Another week of a mostly home cooked meals.

Though we have changed the weekly menu:

Monday: Palak paneer
Tuesday: Some kind of chicken.
Wednesday: Salad
Thursday: Pan asian
Friday: Any sabji

I have also added egg whites to my breakfast along with husk water.

We went to a Lebanese restaurant called Maffei and had the most amazing food.

WATCHING

We have started watching Chief detective 1958 and am I finding it good so far.

I am still waiting for Lovely Runner to conclude before I continue watching episode 12 and beyond.

I also started watching The Atypical Family and I think I am going to like it.

INTERESTING

I got short bangs! YASSSSS.

I deep dived into Kibbe’s Metamorphosis and looked at myself objectively. When I did this, a lot of my misconceptions about myself were cleared.

I can now accept that I am Flamboyant Gamine unless someone more knowledgeable has something else to say.

CREATING

I created some reels and wrote a few lines.

Pata nahi kab chalte chalte bata birkenstock ho gaye.

Chatri chod ke nikala karte the ghar se; Weather app dekhte hi aj ke plans cancel ho gaye.

GENSHIN IMPACT

Did not get to play much this week. I wanted Wanderer but I don’t think I will be able to draw him.

That’s all from me, what was the highlight of your week?
