Eye Love You – Watch or Drop?

First of all let me say that I would watch anything that has Chae Jong Hyeop in it. Period. So of course when I saw him post Eye Love You teaser I was excited.

Though the episodes were out in other countries earlier, in India they released the 10th episode last week and so this post is a little late as compared to the rest of the world.

This is not a Kdrama, this is a Jdrama with a little bit of Korean cross-over.

To start with it was cute. I really enjoyed first 5-ish episodes. However, I felt that female lead was very timid. As a company founder I was expecting her to be a little more strong.

Male lead is supposed to be bold and young, which he is and he did a good job at it but I think the story continues to weaken as episodes pass by.

The whole being able to hear people’s thoughts doesn’t take her anywhere, the supporting characters are also mediocre at best. The best friend’s love story is sweet but I feel like it could have been better.

What I am most disappointed in is the ending. It was such a bad all ending if you ask me. After having a supernatural angle, adding an ancient tale and what not they did something so stupid with the script that I went all WHAT THE HELL.

So well, if you like any of the actors then maybe watch otherwise drop.
