Love Again – I watched it for Priyanka Chopra

I don’t know if I have said this out loud but I LOVE Priyanka Chopra. I love watching her interviews and I have seen her from the time she participated in Miss India. I have seen her grow and I have fallen in love with her more and more with time. So when I saw the trailer of Love Again I was sure I was going to watch it.

I know and I have seen that the movie doesn’t have great reviews and I absolutely don’t understand why. Some people have problems with the whole Celine Dion angle and some people are criticizing the male lead and a lot of people say that there is absolutely no chemistry. The whole Celine Dion and her husband bit is also problematic in ways.

Anyway, if you look at the bright side, this is a romcom and romcom is my favourite genre. Now, I found it sweet and simple and well-written.

It is cheesy and it is goofy and it is predictable and that is what I love about it.

Is it creepy that the guy:

a) Lies
b) Finds her and wants to be with her.

Ummm yes and no both. But you’ll just have to look past that bit.

Did I cry? YES!

And it’s on Netflix so please watch it.
