I wanted to bake cake last week and I had limited ingredients. Since I couldn’t order more ingredients, I decided to use what I had. This is my mom’s recipe. We’ve been baking eggless chocolate cake for ages and my dear friend Gwen helped us modify the recipe to make it moist and avoid cracks. So here we go – Eggless Chocolate Almond Cake:
How to bake eggless chocolate cake
All Purpose Flour/Maida – 1 cup
Milk Powder – 1/2 cup
Ghee – 1/2 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda – 1/4 tsp
Salt – a Pinch
Milk – 1 and 1/4th cup
Cocoa powder – 1/4 cup
Almonds – As per your liking
Mix all the dry ingredients.
Slowly add milk and keep mixing.
Grease your tin.
Pour the mix and leave it for 5 minutes.
Bake in preheated oven 180F for 20 -25 minutes.
Do the toothpick test to see if it comes out clean.
Cool and unmould.
